I started this blog because I don't write enough anymore. But I like to write.
For a long time I wanted nothing more than to own my own business. Not just a one man shop,1 but something bigger, which is of course a relative term.
I wanted to have a team of people who I love working with. I wanted to be far enough along that we could actually take shots, and not just fight to be alive.
Well, I've learned that you're always fighting to be alive, but 5 years in we've started to be able to take shots. Build products, invest in experiments, see what happens. The best part is I get to do it with my brother and a tight-knit team I'm proud to work alongside.
Today Opascope is a mid 7-figure agency racing towards 8. I've learned that the Greg LeMond quote "It never gets easier, you just go faster" applies to more than just bike racing.
I started this blog because I'm having the time of my life and I want a place to write it all down.
